C2.6C THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT – THE BLESSED LIFE

SERMON ON THE MOUNT

                                            SERMON ON THE MOUNT

JOY & BLESSEDNESS

There is one word to describe the term Blessed it is >> Joy. << The State of Joy is different than the Emotion of Happiness. Happiness is dependent on being immediately in the enjoyment of agreeable sensations from the possession of good or enjoying pleasure from the gratification of appetites or desires due to Luck, the etymological word for Happy. The pleasurable sensations derived from the gratification of sensual appetites render a person temporarily happy. To be in any degree happy, we must be free from pain both of body and of mind; to be very happy, we must be in the enjoyment of lively sensations of pleasure, either of body or mind. Altogether it is still only a temporary sensation and may be displaced or replaced by another lesser emotion with many other variables.

However, >> Joy << is not Dependent on immediate Possession or the Senses. It is the passion or emotion excited by the acquisition or expectation of good; that excitement of pleasurable feelings which is caused by success, good fortune, the gratification of desire or some good possessed, or by a rational prospect of possessing what we love or desire; gladness; exultation; the exhilaration of one’s Spirit.

BLESSED | BLESSINGS | BLESSEDNESS

Blessed is to be under the Protection and Grace of the FATHER. One can only possess Blessed Joy when they have Peace of Mind and are in the Favor and Protection of GOD. To be Blessed is to have a Joy and Peace regardless of the Circumstances in your life. Blessed also conveys a meaning of Reward. Being Blessed is when you have the Faith that the FATHER is in Control. It is knowing all things work together for good for those who Love the FATHER. It is to have GODLY Joy that can not be taken away, be displaced or replaced. Blessedness is a State of Justification for Righteousness when we have none but the FATHER does not Impute Sin to the ungodly because of the Reconciliation of the Cross of HIS SON YEHOSHUA JESUS. Blessedness is Everlasting.

Rom 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Rom 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

Rom 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

Rom 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Rom 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

Mat 5:1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

Mat 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Mat 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Mat 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Mat 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Mat 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

SPIRITUAL RECONCILIATION

Sin separated Mankind from GOD through Spiritual Death. Therefore, there had to be a Spiritual Regeneration, Transformation and Conversion of the individual to be Reconciled to GOD through YEHOSHUA HA`MASHIACH JESUS CHRIST and the HOLY GHOST/SPIRIT. When a person is Spiritually Converted they are ->Born Again.<- They become a Spiritual Disciple, a Believer of the Glorious Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven and CHRIST who gives them the Power to Become Sons of YHVH GOD and they are Reconciled to the FATHER. They are no longer Carnal and controlled by the Flesh or influenced by the serpent, called the devil and Satan who deceives the whole World. It was for this that YEHOSHUA JESUS was made Manifest, to be Incarnated into the World, to destroy the devil and all of his Deceptions and his Works which are Sin and Death.

Joh 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

1Jn_3:8  He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Heb_2:14  Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

Rev_12:9  And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

GOD IN CHRIST RECONCILING MANKIND TO HIMSELF

A Believer has a Spiritual Mind (the Mind of CHRIST) and becomes a Child of GOD, enabled to Discern Spiritual things of GOD. They are inheritors of the >> Promises of GOD << and Partakers of HIS Divine Nature instead of the Degenerate Carnal Nature of the World.  To know Spiritual things a person must be Spiritually Regenerated – Born Again and are no longer Dead in Sin. They must be >> Born Again <<  to Discern the Spiritual things of GOD and to obtain and receive Salvation and the Blessed Life on Earth in their Life time and in preparation for the Future. When Mankind is Born Again by the Spirit of the FATHER they become Empowered by HIS Spirit and receive the Word of Reconciliation.

2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

2Pe 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Mat 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Mat 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

Mat 19:30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Eph 2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Eph 2:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

Eph 2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

Eph 2:19  Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

Eph 2:20  And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Eph 2:21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:

Eph 2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

PROMISE OF IMMORTALITY & THE RESURRECTION

Disciples are Conformed to the Image of CHRIST who is the Image of YHVH GOD. We don’t know exactly what we will be like after our Resurrection but we will be just like HIM and be able to See HIM as HE is. Being Born Again is necessary to receive the Immortal and Glorified Body promised to Disciples and Believers after their >> Resurrection << where the >> Spiritual Believer << will have >> Immortality << and will Reign with CHRIST on the Earth.

Tit 3:5  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Tit 3:6  Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Tit 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Tit 3:8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

LOVE & OBEY

JESUS CHRIST, HIS Apostles and Disciples taught that to Love GOD is to Obey GOD. It is required that we should Love (Obey) GOD with all of our Heart, Soul, Strength and Mind, and to Love our neighbor as ourselves as taught by the Ten (10) COMMANDMENTS which were Reiterated and Recapitulated by CHRIST in the following verses:

Mat 22:37  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Mat 22:38  This is the first and great commandment.

Mat 22:39  And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 22:40  On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Joh_14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Joh_15:10  If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
1Jn_5:2  By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
1Jn_5:3  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Eph 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Eph 1:7  In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Eph 1:8  Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

Eph 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

Eph 1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Eph 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
